Seems like their appearance has changed a little in the last few days.

Dang coons that hang out with the 8pt are still stuffing themselves on high priced corn, though.

They're already too lazy to run far. This one just climbed a few feet and watched as we walked up to pull the camera card the other morning.

Antlers looking kinds deadly and sharp with the velvet gone. I'm wondering if the big fat coons will give you more meat than one of those bucks??

Wow! The velvet is off that buck. It won't be long now. 8) Gary

That velvet came off fast! I got fed up with more coons than deer in my pictures. Got me a trap and baited it with the same corn they were stealing. One picture had a coon inside the chicken wire I had put around the slinger to keep the squirrls from hanging upside down and raking the corn out. He had pulled the wire down so he could squeeze inside. So far, 4 of them won't be eating any more $10 a bag corn.

Coons would be a pain eating up your corn but I'd get over pretty quick with a buck like that!! That's a good looking deer, hope you get a crack at him!

I went to our local park yesterday, and the bucks velvet was half on and half off. Never saw that in person but did see that on TV.
