Rangefinder

Post by leejacstu »

I am looking for a good rangefinder for my equinox. I'm not sure if I need one with angle compensation like the bushnell "ARC" technology. I hunt on flat ground, but sometimes 40 feet in the air, perhaps a little higher but not much. Do I need to spend the money for angle compensation or will a regular rangefinder work just fine?

I bought a Chuck Adams model made by Bushnell. It runs around 199.00 on EBay and has ARC. It has been a good one.

Does it come with a giant grin on it?

I would need 2 stands to hunt at 40 feet . Would have to have 1 set at 20 feet so I could stop and have a rest at the half way mark
