I know you've all heard this a thousand times, but with deer season upon us, I would hate to hear of a tragedy occurring. Please take every possible precaution to avoid this happening to you. NOBODY wants to see this!
(Warning: the pic below is not for the faint of heart!)

I thought that every West Lincoln house comes with a family of em' under the porch!

Where I live there are no animals that can do me much harm. No bears, no mountain lions, no rattlesnakes. Nothing to fear when I walk out to my stand at 5 am in the dark...except for the lowly skunk! We have quite a few around here and the local dogs are always getting sprayed. I've never been sprayed and hope I don't. Gary
I have a dog who has not learned the "official distance " to approach those critters.
The recipe is 2 bottles of hydrogen peroxide(1 quart 3%),1/4 cup of baking soda,1teaspoon liquid soap (dish detergent) palmolive, or what ever you use for doing dishes. mix well, spray on in a spray bottle. spray animal and leave for l5 minutes. Not 8 or ten. Then hose animal off. You will stink like h-ll, then use the remainder to spray on your self in the shower. This does work as I have a really dumb young bluehealer/cross
ps. Dumb dog but I love her.
