Another Canuck on board!

Post by CanuckBen »

G'd morning all!

Thought I'd drop in a note to say Hi to everyone and introduce myself to the board.

Joined in last week and have really enjoyed reading what's been posted - y'all are a great bunch :)

We unfortunately came up empty handed two weeks ago during the 1st moose hunt up here in our province of Quebec, Canada. With temperatures hovering with the humidity between 75 and 80f, there wasn’t a lot, if any, movement in our hunting ground. There are quite a few of them, but the heat got to them. Hopefully we’ll be seeing more activity at the 2nd hunt in the last week of October.

Deer hunting opens for the 1st two weeks of November – can’t wait for that as well. A very different hunt than moose, but that is what makes hunting so great.

I’ve been loving the Equinox as it’s simply an amazing product – built quality, durability, price point, customer service from Excalibur, etc.

Anyways – ‘nough with my morning rambling

Cheers all
Ben

Good luck with the bear and moose hunting. Its been warm here too until yesterday morning, and the bucks were moving good. I didn't get a shot but my buddy got a nice 8.

Good luck with the pickeral fishing too.

Yep - cbow hunting for deer and moose. Shotgun is for waterfowl and wild turkey hunting, though for that I will also try the Equinox :D

Thanks for all of the welcoming notes.

Cheers
