Sorry for the ignorance, but I've never killed an animal that weighed over 300lb. How do you get a moose back to the camp in whole condition? Did you take a JD-544 loader with you?

Well with the first and only moose I shot, it took two ATVs hooked up in tandem, six guys pulling and guiding to drag it out of a dried up bog and into the back of a pickup truck. I suppose we we able to do it because it was a cow moose that only weighed 600lbs. :wink:
