Sorry to hear of your loss. There are a few special people in each person's s life that are closer than family. They influence us positively and forever.

Hate to hear that. :( My own father father was a piece of crap, so one of my uncles (one of my mother's brothers) took me under his wing and taught me about everything I know about hunting, and quite a few other life lessons as well. He's still living, but I know that when his time comes to go to the Happy Hunting Ground, it's going to hit me pretty hard.

About the best thing that you can do to help honor his memory and everything that he did for you, is to make sure that you pass on everything that he taught you to your kids and other kids that may not have someone to help them along. It's what he did with you and I think he would want you to do the same.

Thanks every body for the kind words and prayers .
I was blessed to know him he was a fine example of a man an old school hunter through and through no bait , no shacks , no does , no coming in for lunch , no drinking and guns , no game violations just a man the woods the gear in pack and deer.

What can really be said for such a great guy. This is the kind of guy we all wish we knew and we should wish we are look upon by others as being like him. Give some of your time to others. The pay back is much more than what you have given out.
My hat is off to him.
