Jump deer out on the way into the stand wind was out of the west but was changing from west to north west.
7:45 a.m. he taps me and points out a deer walking close by I had to grunt at the deer to get it to stop Cameron was not ready but it did not take him long and soon he shoots. Shot sounds good but the deer did not act like it was hit bad. Deer flagged completely out of sight but I thought I heard it fall and kick.
We waited 45 minutes and went to look for the arrow. It rained 2 inches the day before and was misting off and on that morning. I'm colored blind and can almost never see blood . Cameron starts point out all the blood . The deer ran about 50 yards and that was it.
