OUCH!!!

Post by DaGriz »

Don't do this.
This photo was taken on a cell phone last week after the guy took his friend
to Bass Pro Shop to buy his first bow. The clerk was 'assisting' him in
zeroing it in, and, after shooting several arrows, making adjustments
etc., the clerk accidently handed him an arrow that was too short.
When he drew back, the arrow tip fell down onto his hand and he somehow
released it. They rode to the hospital with the bow in his buddy's hand
because it impaled his finger also! They are both archery amateurs (I'm
thinking the clerk is also?). I don't think the guy who got shot ever had
held a bow prior, let alone shoot one...OUCH!

I have shot myself once or twice with a spike nailer and if its somewhat the same it more shock than anything. Everything goes numb and slowly the pain sets in. OUCH! As the saying goes better you than me. :D Bet a lawyer is drooling somewhere.

I've seen that posted several other places including Roger Raglin's facebook page. The story seems to change each time I see the pic!! LOL

Whichever story is true, one thing is for certain, it looks painful (even if it was photoshopped)
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

His buddy could have just grabbed the end of the arrow and pulled it all the way through and called it good
