Hey guys and gals this is probably a stupid question but can you use the arrows that come with the Axiom SMF kit wiith broadheads or just the field points? Brand new to the crossbow so there will probably be lot's of stupid questions from time to time. And are the field points that come with the Axiom 150gr?
Thanks for any input.

Re: Axiom Arrows
Yup you sure can, thats what I'm using for hunting. Before you go hunting make sure you practice with your broadhead on the arrow to see how it flys compared to the field pt,alot of times the broadhead will fly different than the field pt so you will need to get your broadheads flying right before you can hunt with them. The field pts that came with the Axion are 150gr

Re: Axiom Arrows
Buck Hunter,
150 gr. Excalibure Bolt Cutter fixed-blade broadheads or 100 gr. Excalibure X-Act mecanical broadheads are good starting places.
If you cannot find them locally, both can be purchased direct from Excalibure in Canada (800-463-1817) or Danny Miller US (740-483-2312).
Good hunting and let us know how your hunting goes.

Re: Axiom Arrows
if your broadheads don,t hit the same point as your field points, adjust your scope for the b/h,s and go huntin..as long as they are shootin good groups..be sure to not aim at the same spot without removing your previous arrow or you,ll be buying more arrows

Re: Axiom Arrows
Well thanks guy's for the replies it is much appreciated, and I will let you know how the hunting goes, our deer season here just closed (New Brunswick, Canada) so I will have to wait until next year. Spring Bear season, I usually don't hunt Bear but can't wait to try this new crossbow out so I will in the spring. Terrible weather here today but tomorrow is suppose to be nice so I will sight it in and do some target practicing, can't even wait for that LOL.
This past season was the worse season I have ever had, hurt my leg and couldn't get out much maybe 3 days total, didn't see any bucks but did see does and fawns, so look out next year. Thanks again everyone.
