Rattled him in to about 25 yards; hit him a little front of where it should have been.
He went about 60 yards and down he went.
My first retrieve where the animal didn;t go down within view.
He weighed in at 258 lbs !
It was too heavy for me to drag by myself; so I spent an almost sleepless night waiting to get help to drag him to the buck pole.
I managed to arrow two black bears with the bow as well from the same stand earlier in the week.
Them critters may avoid that area now - for thier own good ! LOL.........
