Re: need help finding a crossbow

Post by Boo »

John, I want to express my regrets for my post. I posted on what I thought was a dead thread in the late hours of Saturday and took off for the hills of Ohio without a computer until Sunday night. I should not have posted such an immature post and had no idea it would blossom into a fiasco. I misjudged the whole situation as well as yourself and I regret it and apologize. I would have posted this earlier but I had a whole whack of chores to do for both work and and my family.
Again John I am very sorry and hope you accept my apologies.

Now my turn. Don aka Boo I apologize for assuming your lack of response here early in the thread was due to ommision. I stand corrected. You by your most recent post, have proved to be above board in this thread with the best of intentions.

The rope cocker reduces the force by 50%. You'll essentially be pulling 50 lbs with each arm.

If you can't do it at first, get a Crankaroo and start lifting weights.

Easy solution: find someone in your area w/ 200#er that will let you try cocking it.
