S5 Damper question

Post by Model 70 »

Question for those who have installed the S5 dampers. Did your point of impact change after the install? I have a set on the way and was wondering what to expect after the install.

No change in POI with S5's on both bows ....Did not notice much noise reduction (but I don't care, few more years & I'll never hear it anyway with my hearing loss    ), but seems to have less vibration, & when I get into the dry-fire club I figure I'll do less damage with-um :D

the thing that I found is I have too shoot a higher brace height than what I use too shoot because the sting stoppers are not adjustable. I guess my bows a little slower but I just put on a fastflight string and everything seemed too be about the same as before without the s5 and the excel string and a lower brace height.
