Hog Epidemic in the USA

Some one sent me a link to a video with a fellow killing hogs from the helo . I could not believe the number of pigs running around . It would not take long to put a significant dent in thier population using this method . I would volunteer my services as well . Would probably need a double dose of gravol before I went up .

I'm not a big fan of that tactic..but i know in texas's situation drastic measure's are needed. I'm just waiting for a video such as this to show up on the prime time news...peta will have a field day with it.

Those are basically "hired guns" to help thin the population in extreme cases. PETA I'm sure already knows about stuff like that. I've seen videos of helicopter pig hunts for several years now.

This was the 1st time I have ever seen anything like it . I knew they had large wild hog populations in the Southern USA , but not to the number I saw in this video .

There are too many rednecks around here, one of which I is, to let the hog population get very big. Too many guys ride around at night with a dog box full of curs and a bull dog or two on top praying for a fresh set of hog tracks in the road. Must say it is an absolute blast to do and is an experience you will never forget.

Also, deer hunters generally declare war on hogs because they take over feeders and won't let the deer come to them.
