trigger pull

Post by bellasboss »

Is there some advantage to either the pistol grip or the thumbhole stock as far as trigger pull goes and why if you know? I was a competitive blackpowder rifle shooter and really appreciate a good trigger. Is their someone or somewhere that works on the excalibur triggers (although I have found them to already be one of the best stock crossbow triggers). thanks, BB

The trigger pull on the traditional (pistol grip ) stock has less travel . So easier pull ,less poundage .

I agree with Mark . . .regardless of the trigger you decide to get, contact Boo to make it even better. Best improvement I've made to my crossbow was in the trigger polishing and the pull adjustment by Boo.

I've heard people say that it's easier to reach the safety on the traditional style stocks. I've owned both and didn't seem to have a problem with either one. It probably depends on the size of your mitts. :)
