O/T Hunting with 45 ACP
Im thinking i might use my Berretta Px4 Storm 45 to do some small game hunting but my brother thinks it would not leave much clean meat say on a rabbit. Anyone ever try it? would hate to kill a rabbit and not be able to have meat from it.. i kill only what i would eat... thanks

You'd be better served taking a .22 cal for small game. Depending on the ammo type, I don't believe you'd have much left after shooting something with a .45.

I've killed grouse with a .357 magnum handgun.
Trick is to catch 'em in the pre-flight position (sitting) and take head shots.

I have killed many rabbits with my Colt Gold Cup head shot good ,,but a fmj or a lead reload will not damage a whole lot of meat, lead ,,just will pass through leaving a .45 calibur wound ... and rabbit is some darn good eating !!!! You gotta be able to hit tho ,, hand gun difficult to be accurate with ,, good 12 gauge or .22 rifle will put more meat on table .....
