To me the Pontiac Firebird will always be a Thunder Chicken.
Although GM engineers dubbed the decal on the hood the "Screaming Chicken" !
Fans of the car preferred fire over screaming.
A Ford Thunderbird in my opinion was never a real muscle car.

Also in 1991 GM built a Pontiac Firebird with a special order performance package that was called the "Firehawk".
