Howdy Folks

Post by Trapman »

I have been lurking around here for the past year ever since I bought my Phoenix. Picked up a lot of great information and tips. I thought it was about time I introduced myself.

The screen name does not mean I am a trapper. It is because I shoot trap (clay birds) around four times a week. Anyone else around here a trap shooter?

Looking forward to more great information about crossbows.

Welcome to the worlds best crossbow forum IMO :)
As for the various hobbies people have on here is amazing . But I can only speak for myself .
Yes I have and do trap but not very well . I prefer shooting stationary targets .ie benchrest , F class and used to do more 3-d .

Welcome to the forum. I couldnt lurk because I cant keep my mouth shut that long  I always wanted to try trap shooting but just never had the chance. I even have a backyard where I could do it just always seem to be doing something else but I need to if I ever plan to start goose hunting
To be a vegetarian is to listen to the live carrot gradually screaming as it drowns in a pot of boiling water …. Which is more ethical to you ??

Welcome and congrats on your new Phoenix. I like to shoot clays to but only get out a few times a year. Me and a few friends out behind the barn with a couple throwers, a couple boxes of birds and lots n lots of ammo!! :)

Thanks to all for the warm welcome.

I like the phoenix. My choices came down to a ten point or the excalibur and I think I could not have gone wrong with either choice.

What pushed me over the edge was the history of customer service I was able to read about regarding excalibur.
