Creep is the distance that the trigger has to travel (as you squeeze it) before the sear disengages and launches the arrow.

Technically creep refers to permanent elongation. Elasticity is temporary.
I believe trigger creep refers to the actual sear travel.

I was thinking of the guy across the street from me that had a table of watermelons, cantaloupes, and tomatoes in the front yard (for sale I'm guessing) last week. I have a suspicion the "farmer's market" is a plot/plan to camouflage a drug sales business. (in the past it's also been a potted flower, cheap framed pictures, tiny (made in China) decorative figurines, etc. table displaying goods) From the looks of his clientele and the way money & small packages exchange hands I'm guessing more than watermelons are being sold.

Ok thank you all. So creep can change in meaning, depending on what you are talking about. Strings, trigger, or weirdos.

Amazing how thoughts of hunting can switch our mood from grumpy to happy so quickly.
