Wackin & Stackin

Post by copperjohn »

Posted these on Archery Talk and figured I'd put them on here as well. Both deer taken with an excal phoenix at 25 yds. Same arrow and same 100 grain spitfire used on both. Shot the second one a bit high and broke off the gold tip arrow I was using so she is retired. First one ran about 50 yards and the second one clipped spine and came out high shoulder; I had to put another one in 'er to send her to the pearly gates as quickly as possible. I took the first one and ground up all meat for burgers/jerky with exception of the backstraps. The second deer I gave to a friend.
