If it is a walnut stock it might might be one of the hand made original Relayers

I'm not sure what you have, but the Relayers were the 1st model made circa 1983...........They came out again in '08 for the 25th anniversary model..........

Hi thx for taking the time to answer me in the excalibur forum! my dad bought it when i was around 12 and im 39 now so that would be in the early 80's forsure. the patent on the limbs says still pending and im sure they have there patent now! :) so do you think this is a collectable? and should i use it for hunting or put it away? do you know how many were made then! My dad is adement that it walut and he paid like 900 for it then you think the price is right ? or is he just exagerating? lol thx alot for your time (Dan from elliot lake, ONT. CAN)

Does yer model have one recurve limb, simular to a recurve bow that connects to riser ? Or does it have 2 limbs with 2 bolts into riser ? Wolverines are 150 lb models wid carved tip limbs

I believe the relayer had a ONE PIECE limb - all the newer models (including the wolverine) have TWO limbs that are bolted to the metal riser. They are all recurve design.

Awshucks, the limbs definity say Wolverine and has the wolverine riser. The stock looks like the original relayer stock that narrows towards the forearm. They changed the wolverine stock to the thicker deeper shape to prevent finger tips from getting whacked. Plus it's walnut not camo. I believe it's a hybrid maybe the original one piece limb broke and the wolverine riser added. Another answer might be at the conversion they used up a relayer stock with the newer Wolverine riser /limbs
