Equinox

Post by Hester0305 »

A friend of mine is looking at an Equinox and a Vortex. He asked me to post a question about the camo on the top of the rail on the Equinox does this camo rub off? Is this camo harder on servings than a slick aluminum rail such as the Vortex?

I told him I would ask the experts.

Thanks,
Eric

No sign of mine rubbing off or it being hard on the serving. It's pretty smooth.

Camo is pretty tuff stuff.More durable than most finishes. Exomax hasnt phased mine. Wraps will leave a colored line on it though so far has cleaned off.

I had my bow painted this summer. Had to remove the camo finish first. I was able to sand it off the rail and that was hard workl. Gave up trying to sand the riser. Got that sandblasted. The Excalibur finish is amazingly tough.
