Retiring from X- Bow hunting
The time has come to stop hunting with the X-Bow. At 63, I can't hunt the way it should be done. This is the 3rd. year I haven't used the bow . I'm selling all my X-Bow equipment , Ladder treestands , clothing , and my Ex . crossbow . If interested , 905 772 5236 . Ray

Re: Retiring from X- Bow hunting
Sorry to hear that xbhntr, I'm 67 and I'm hunting as long as I am drawing a breath. It does take a lot longer to get over the soreness and I try to keep a cellphone with me in case I have another heart attack, but if I go out I would be doing what I love to do

I hate you have to give it up but I know you know whats best for you. Good luck to you. This is probably the best place to sell the things you no longer need.

Sorry to hear that your giving hunting up. Must have been a hard decision to do. Whatever you do is don't be a stranger on the forum. I'm sure you have plenty of knowledge the young man or women starting out. Takel care. Aging
Re: Retiring from X- Bow hunting
I'll still hunt but with the gun . Hunting with the crossbow is a precise sport , the kill zone MUST be achieved. Even then, the deer's adreniline kicks in and game can still be lost ! I'm off the bow but not the forum ! Good Luck fellow archers ! Ray

Anything within a few hours is all private land and the owners now want $$$$$$$ to hunt on it. I have not given up, I figure I have a year or so to find something.
