From what I understand, deer can see BLUE only. I would say either colour is good. :D

Wabi, same Co., this one has the Shadowzone scope which bumps the price up. They offer three scope options with the "Lite-Stuff" package.

My haste in reading the description made me miss that.
I never think of the accessories, as I always just buy a bare bow. I prefer Leupold scopes, aluminum arrows, and a hip quiver, so the accessory package doesn't get my attention.

One advantage to the brown stock & limbs is that the camo finish will never wear or peel off.

One thing I did not see in the pict. was dissapatter bars. Anyone know if these come without them and if so, is the lack thereof a big deal?

I took them off my Phoenix and never missed them. They do help quiet noise/vibration some, but after you've shot a few thousand times you've learned to ignore noise/vibration anyway.

Call me cynical, the "Bear' is a poop brown Vixen sans diss bars w/ an Emax rail, they should be cheap. I fully believe however, they'll do the same as an Emax...........

Dan, I agree 100%. But have you seen what an Exomax pkg sells for now. Guess that is cheap. On all the Excal bows they get a pretty good price increase as the fps goes up,and all thats involved is a little bit longer rail that is an extrusion to start with. Should be a few bucks diff. but is in the 100's. Guess they know speed sells and get what they can when and where they can. This doesnt mean I am any less an Excal fan but is just something I've noticed. A FWIW kind of moment.

Bought my Equinox from this same company. They delivered just what they promised. I even had a problem with the Twilight scope (floating crosshair) and they replaced it with no problems.
