dealer recommendations?

Post by Woodspike »

I have no intention of starting a flame war here, but Cabelas has been giving me some issues, to the point of me contemplating canceling my Eclipse order.

Are there any online EXCAL dealers who really go above and beyond with customer service and prompt shipping? I have no problem paying a bit more for good service, I'm just looking for a dealer I can rely on.

Thanks in advance.

I'll tell you right now that Danny Miller will ship one tomorrow if you call him. There is no better customer service than Danny. Add to that he is Excalibur's warranty depot.
His number is 740-483-2312. He is not online but you can order it over the phone. He went to check while I am typing this and he has one.

Danny Miller is your man. One of the last "OLD SCHOOL" folks still around. Talked to him on the phone numerous times. Reminds me of my Grandfather. :) :)

*Update*
Just got off the phone with Cabelas. Spoke with one of the nicest CS reps I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Everything seems to be a go, barring any issues in transit.

I do still intend on calling Mr. Miller, given the high praises, he sounds like someone worth handing my money to in the future.

Thanks again everyone.

Next time, call Danny. I don't even look for bargains anymore for Excal stuff. I know his prices are good and shipping is fast.

Yeah, I definitely regret not checking here first... Losing a bow just before the rut, I had to act as fast as I could. Even having to wait another week, I feel like I'll miss out on that "perfect" buck.

Miller is cheaper than Cabels on everything, but especially accessories like strings[which he makes for Excal]

Don't feel bad, I got my 1st Excal from Cabelas too. Live and learn.

Danny has great service and comparable in pricing with Bass Pro or Cabelas
A lot of people also like wyverns for their dependability and service also.

Keep this going for those who may be bow shopping... As for me, according to the UPS tracking site, the ol' girl should be here sometime tomorrow.
Can't believe how fast that shipped... Guess sweet-talking those ladies at cabelas must have worked.

Thanks once again y'all!

Good news. Maybe that big buck will be in your crosshairs soon. :)
