Loose serving

Does any members on the forum re-serve strings for an Excalibur brother that is having problems? I bought a string from a source that I won't mention because I don't want to get that crap started but from day one the center serving has been loose and separates after cocking the bow every time and I know it's just a matter of time before it breaks. I'm willing to pay a reasonable fee plus the shipping of the string both ways. I shoot the 225 lb Equinox which I'm really enjoying....I've launched 2 bolts at deer and both ended up taking a tailgate ride in a Ford 150. Thanks

Did you twist the string counter clockwise??
If you twist clockwise you will loosen the serving.

To Ont_Excal....yes I did twist clockwise to get correct brace height.

I believe that you must twist the string CCW looking into either end of the string, to tighten and/or raise the BH. CW twists will loosen the string & serving. I found that on my Equinox that a BH of 1 & 1/16" seemed to work best and also on my son's Vortex & Axiom SMF. Hope this helps.
