finally managed to put a S. Georgia buck on the ground. Sorry to say that I didn't get him with the Equinox. Had to resort to the 300 WSM. It's just too hard to hit those bucks with an arrow when they're chasing them doe's all over the field.

Beautiful buck, my friend! Congratulations.
I love the dark racks.
I chalked up a nice fat doe a couple mornings ago with the Equinox. Shooting the 175 grain Slick Tricks. Great blood trail and she fell in less than 40 yards.
Again, way to go! That is a buck that anyone would be proud to put on the ground.

Don't really know why, but a lot of the deer in my area are dark colored with dark antlers. That makes them hard to see when it's during the "magic hour". They blend in very well with all the dark green foliage in my woods.
