e-z fletcher pro...question

Post by Lucky-Dog »

I have an old Arizona E-Z Fletcher PRO right helical. The back of the package says fits from 2018 to smaller carbons. My question is this fletcher going to work alright for putting 2 inch blazers on Firebolts and/or Goldtips ?

It will work. But they have come out with a short-vane version that is better suited to applying an aggressive offset or helix over the 2" distance. Fletching 2" vanes in a standard EZ Fletcher made for 4" and 5" vanes imparts very little offset or helix because the rate of each is based on the longer vane proportionally.

Bohning also makes the "tower" which is Blazer (2" vane) specific. It works well and does the same thing.

Thanks for the help. I might give it a try. I wanted to make sure that it would work first. I might get the mini if Im not happy.

Might not work.... In the old days they had two sizes , one for small dia. carbon and one for 22 size shafts ... Take the field point off your arrow and see if it fits.. Ron

It will work but the slot is 5" long allowing for larger vanes> You can purchase the ARMS (only) for the BOLT version that is intended for 2" vanes with helical for under $20.00. (I LOVE the results I get with mine). Google AZ Bolt

This is the route I went too and it works like a charm. :)

the arizona bolt puts the fletching a little to far to the front for me so I screw a field point in the rear insert of the arrow and works great. I use a 75gr. fieldpoint and that gives me about 3/4 inch from nock. a 100gr would probably be about right . I have my scope mount cut out so I can set my fletching closer to the rear.
