Great wife crossbow is a bonus. My wife won't even make me a pot of coffee,she doesn't like coffee. Just curious, does your wife hunt with you?

Review Part 1:

WARNING: I hate computers and typing in general and I suck grammatically. So I apologize in advance.

Just got everything together. Gotta say the TAC PAC is worth it. Feels really comfortable for someone with my arm span. Ergos are great with this bow for me.

Love the rubber on the grip, looks first class (not gonna peel after a couple outings, hopefully).

Love the width and length. I will reserve comments on the scope until i start shooting tomorrow. Although I do like the idea of the dummy proof chevrons with numbers beside them.

Now the (possible) negatives to me: (I always look for possible issues so I can avoid them)

- Anti dryfire looks great but i worry about possible crud (dirt and ice) getting in there and jamming it.(The metal catcher and the sliding piece)
- The scope caps are tuff as heck to open. I will have to tinker with the plastic for an easier open.
- Very long metal piece that holds the arrow on the deck. (don't know the proper term). I would hate for things to get caught on this and bend or worse break it.

All in all I am very pleased and impressed with this upgrade. However Review Part 2 will have comments on handling and shooting. (the important part)

Good afternoon,

Just an FYI. I have taken one shot with my new matrix and quickly realized this bow is a MONSTER.
The positive:
Quieter than my Exomax.
Less kickback than my Exomax.
Less trigger creep than my Exomax.
I love the scope. (eye relief is a bit of a pain but I am used to the lumizone so no worries)
The negative:
Killed one of my arrows. I took only one shot. That's it. The arrow went through my Block and Excalibur Bag (backup for arrows that could go through).
Went through both and deflected of a log in my woodpile and then hit a boulder. Arrow is now garbage (expensive garbage).
I will do some research and buy a new block before i shoot again. I can't afford breaking them.
