Question about the Dryfire devise..

Just curios here ..i was wondering how the string holds up when it hits the Dryfire latch..?
no worries or is the string toast..?

No worries, it's a solid latch w/ radiused edges. Makes a funny sound when it works, lol. Yep, 1st shot out of the 380.........

I used to think this was not needed but now i think Excal made a very wise move by adding this to the new bows..

NOW question
TO "decock" the bow is it necessary to use an arrow or is there a special method used?

If you go and watch the instructional videos there is one that shows how to decock using the rope cocker.
The only difference with the ADF you push the lever in with your thumb and pull the trigger with your index finger and ease the string down.....
