I'm glad to hear such a good review, I have had my 380 for 2 weeks and haven't even tried it out yet.

Mr. B your question interested me, so I took out an accurate digital scale. With the Diablo out of the box I got 401.24 grains.

Picked up my 380 today. The insert on a firebolt is 23 gr.'s +- a few tenth's the diablo is 38 gr.s Both in the 250 range overall. That was the first thing I did was rip an arrow apart to see what the weight was. Still thinking I might rip the trigger out of it, and take a look but it look's the same as my older bow on the exterior. Is a nice looking piece now to get out and shoot.

Thanks for the weight guys . I was curious since the fps in the specs says using a 350 gr arrow. I'm having a hard time trying to understand why they send and reccomend a 150 gr tip. I can't find a 200 gr, 18 inch arrow anywhere to be able to get the speed they advertise. Does anybody know where I can get some?

Have you considered that they shot the 250 grain arrow with a 100 grain broadhead on it? Their mechanical broadhead weighs 100 grains I do believe.

Any idea where to get the heavier inserts that would fit the Diablo bolts ?
I've got some 20" Firebolts that I can shoot but would like to cut a few down to 18" and use some of the heavier inserts just to play with....

Wyvern would be able to hook you up with either the 57gr easton hp inserts or 100gr brass, s00!
Thanks SD,
I'll give them a call.

Just cut down a firebolt to 18 and then installed 23 gr. inserts fletched with blazers ( bolt jig ) and put a 150 tip gave me 390 gr. total and got 368 fps out of it. Didn't adjust my string and it's touching the red's are we still thinking have it off by around 1/8 inch??
