My stirrup an rope riggings

Post by Masboy »

all use heavy stihl chainsaw starter cord an works great . for my cocking rope I wax it with daltons an slides easy an seems easier to cock for me.then I made the holes bigger on my rope stringer like bob said to do an this heavy cord works great with no more slipping like my other rope did.my stirup I added a piece of 3/8 fuel line to and work great. i really like these ropes an 16 inch arrows in my little hunting vixen. it may not be a matrix but all I ever need and want to hunt with!!!!

It all looks good and strong but just curious as to why you used for a foot stirup? Was something wrong with the aluminum original? Also might worry about the rope of the stirup flipping up and being in the path of the bolt. Again not trying to knock it, just curious.

Two reasons usually, first is to allow the larger guillotine style broadheads and second is to lighten up the front of the Xbow.

The rope stirrup would also be very handy if you were shooting at whales from a rubber raft.
