ESOS has not released that info. Apparently only some vendors and celebs are privy to that and they're not naming names. I can understand why.

Statement by Lee Lakosky

Lee and Tiffany Lakosky of The Crush TV show, made the tough decision to step out from the show’s lineup as well. Lakosky also talked with Deer and Deer Hunting today:

“This was a hard decision, not because of the show and what they did, but that we won’t have the opportunity to talk and shake hands with the fans that will be at the show. But, we can’t support a show that doesn’t completely support the Second Amendment.”

Lee and Tiffany were at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas when they heard the news of the press release, but because of obvious time restrictions, weren’t able to act immediately. “Right away when we heard, we figured we’d pull out of the show, but wanted to make sure we knew all the facts first. As soon as we learned what was happening, we made the choice not to go.”

Lakosky also commented on the press release from the National Shooting Sports Foundation:

“I don’t know why the NSSF would promote this ban just to please one vendor out of twelve hundred,” he said. “Anyone who believes this isn’t a big deal is wrong. It is a big deal because this is where it starts. There’s a reason for the Second Amendment and we all need to band together and stand behind it. ”

Visited a few months back. Nice folk and very accomodating. Excalibur is my first love but a Kodabow would be nice to add to the quiver. Both great bows in different ways.

I also had heard that the Mayor of Harrisburg put a ban on AR in the City limits and since the Farm show is in the limits I heard that was a reason for the Show's Promotor to do what they did and ban AR types of hunting and shoot guns.

How true it is I am not sure but i did watch the News when the Mayor annouce the AR ban.

That makes more sense than one vendor making a complaint.
If it was truly the Mayor she has put a world of hurt on her city. I bet she will not last long now. She might have killed off a long running show that provided an enormous amount of money to the local economy.

I was just saying that what she said during the News that I was watching. Weither she has taken action yet or not with her saying that can make people scared.

I just hope this is not the end of the Show at the Farm Show complex.

These are troubling times in the Kingdom my friends....

Excalibur's facebook posting today.

Excalibur Crossbow US, Inc. will not be attending the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show

Due to the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show management refusing to reverse their decision to allow vendors to display and sell modern sporting rifles, Excalibur Crossbow US, Inc. will not be displaying our booth at their February show.

“It’s unfortunate Excalibur had to make this decision as we always enjoyed exhibiting and displaying our products at this show. It gave Excalibur the opportunity to support our exhibiting dealers while enabling us to speak first hand to our loyal customers. However, in light of recent events – it’s imperative that all Sporting Goods manufacturers, dealers and sportsmen ban together to ensure their freedom and rights are protected"

Reed Exhibitions has decided to postpone, for now, the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show given the controversy surrounding its decision to limit the sale or display of modern sporting rifles (also called ARs) at the event. The show was scheduled to take place February 2-10 in Harrisburg, PA.

“Our original decision not to include certain products in the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show this year was made in order to preserve the event’s historical focus on the hunting and fishing traditions enjoyed by American families,” said Chet Burchett, Reed Exhibitions President for the Americas. “In the current climate, we felt that the presence of MSRs would distract from the theme of hunting and fishing, disrupting the broader experience of our guests. This was intended simply as a product decision, of the type event organizers need to make every day.

“It has become very clear to us after speaking with our customers that the event could not be held because the atmosphere of this year’s show would not be conducive to an event that is designed to provide family enjoyment. It is unfortunate that in the current emotionally charged atmosphere this celebratory event has become overshadowed by a decision that directly affected a small percentage of more than 1,000 exhibits showcasing products and services for those interested in hunting and fishing.

“ESS has long been proud to participate in the preservation and promotion of hunting and fishing traditions, and we hope that as the national debate clarifies, we will have an opportunity to consider rescheduling the event when the time is right to focus on the themes it celebrates.”
