It makes it a little tough to even want to participate when you have to weed through the crap and egos busting out all over. It still isn't as bad as that "other place." I think that's why a ton of people just like to "lurk and learn."

Ah, you quickly learn the people that are full of themselves and just skip over their stuff as your reading the thread. There's a few on here that I'll read a few lines of their post and if I see the same old drivel, I'll skip over the rest of it and go to the next one.

There's a lot of good folks on here, but the hatred some people post, I've got no use for. Whenever I see it, I skip over it. Life's too short to go through constantly voicing hatred for someone or something. If you don't like it, that's fine, but we don't constantly want to hear about your "feud".

Of course it could just be the Maker's Mark talking, but that's pretty much the way I feel.

I agree 100%. I've been around for a couple of years, lurked for a while learning all I could. Thanks to all you good folks that are worth listening to and willing to share your knowledge and time helping teaching others. It's a shame for the new folks here to have to read all that egotistical BS that goes on by a few. This is a great forum lots to learn and enjoy when you learn to skip the BS!
