info needed on good target for Exomax

Post by hockeyfodder »

Hey Folks:

I just bought a used Excal Exomax.
I live in Ontario and would like to get a target (best priced) that will do for target and sighting in.
Obviously I want one that will stop the carbon arrow before it ruins the fletching.
Any suggestions on homemade setups would be appreciated also.
I will be selling an older carved tip Exocet but don't know what they are worth. Any idea?
Great bow, taken numerous deer over the years, several large ones.
I wouldn't hesitate to use it on moose or deer also. (That should read moose or "bear").

Thanks for any info.

Mike

18-1 Rhineharts 's are great but you can also use a Rag Bag where you stuff the bag yourself with clothes I think they are about $20.00. Just remember to remove all the zippers and buttons off the clothes. Good luck and have fun shooting

I've used a Morrel square 4-sided target from Academy Sports for around 70 bucks. It's done a great job for my Exomax for two seasons so far.

I have a Rineheart rhino which works great and a rag bag i have not tried yet, but unless you get one from the US i doubt you can find a rag bag in Canada, at least I could not find one. Hmmmmm maybe i should get into the rag bag business :D

Should a certain Ohio business man bring several to Boofest? I bet he could.
