How many forum members have been featured in magazines?

These are the ones I am aware of (alphabetical):

Boo
Danny Miller
Ischa
Wheelie
I've been is 6 magazines thus far, but alas they were not for crossbows or hunting. So, not an archery celeb here by any means. lol

So, not to impose on Mr Wheelie's thread I will post a separate thread about my other little world in other topics section, just in case someone would be interested.

It would be super cool to make it into a hunting or outdoor mag though. :)

Good job to ya Wheelie ... Congrats :)

Wheelie,

Being in a magazine I would think is special. However, to be featured in a magazines's first article on a new topic, bowfishing ... very special.

Congratulations !

None of us are even close to "unclefester". He has made the cover of a big hunting magazine I believe.
You forgot the main BIG GUY ....... BillT lol

Many on here have been in print and many others have won awards for the promotion of crossbows (I will let others pat them on the back LOL)

Tom ... we definitely have a knowledgeable group of folk on this forum. If everyone banded together maybe we can have an Excalibur magazine.

I think so. It happened really fast accually. When I first contacted them they said they were 3 years behind on stories. Then the main editor contacted me. Told me he loved the idea and asked if I would work with one of their editors and have photo shoot and it was in full flight to get it in the 2013 Annual Fishing issue. John Bennett (photographter) and his wife came up for the weekend. Ever get a chance to meet them they are wonderful people. The magazine kept me well informed of going ons and when it was coming to print. I have nothing but good things to say about everyone involved in bring it to print. :)

Please don't throw your magazines in the recyle as I would greatly appreciated a couple extra copies.

Open invatation to anyone that wants to give it a try. Just give me a pm and will give you my contact numbers. All you need is a fishing licence and I have the rest. Got some good right handed bows and mine are lefties. Middle to end of May I could make you sick and sore of shooting even at 35lbs. On fish everyday over the three months.

DirtyGun - certainly does count as that would be called talent. :)
