Just an update... First Thanks to all for the good wishes.
Background., I had bypass in May 2007, 5 of them. Thought I was doing good.
Sat afternoon,sitting watching TV, my left side of the chest,left arm,left jaw and ear started hurting. As I broke into a sweat I realized what was going on, My wife got off work in about 30 minutes so when she walked in the door I had her take me in.
Sun morning they did the heart cath and found 4 of my bypasses had blocked back up, one not an important one, one had generated new arteries, one had reastablished flow in original artery, and the last one was causeing my problem, in went a stent. Dr said the big important one was good and clear. Blockages were determined to be caused by scar tissue, common problem so I am told. Echo pics showed I accually got by with no more damage to heart, so really good news.
Got out of the hospital on Mon , and accually put in time at work every day the rest of the week. Leg is sore from entrance wound but beats open heart any day.

I write this not for sympathy, but to encourage all us older guys to get stress tests and make sure there is nothing wrong. A little preventive here is REALLY worth it in pain and recovery. The heart catherization procedure is almost an out patient deal and should be considered . Please guys go get checked, don't tough it out and just think those days of being tired or muscle aches, or twinges are just getting older. I found out the hard way and there is no reason for you too.
