Feather and Broadhead alignment question.

Post by Old Mountain Man »

Would someone advise me about whether or not the feather and a blade on an arrow , crossbow or other wise needs to be aligned when looking down the shaft from the rear of the arrow.
Thanks

I've tried it with no difference in poi, besides how would you do a two bladed head,

Since using low profile, 4-bladed heads (Slick Tricks) I have not had issues with alignment, when used on a relativity high FOC arrow (18%) with short vanes (2" Fusion or Blazers) set at hard right helical. Might add that bigger 3-bladed heads (original Thunderheads) were more fussy in this regard
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.
Incurable tinkerer.

Thank Y`all for the input. Will be easier not having to align until I learn how to build an accurate arrow.

Thanks again
