first batch of BEA!

Post by newbie »

Here is the first batch of BEA I built. All weigh in at 281.2 gr but one at 280.8 gr. The ones with luminoks weigh 304.4 gr. Can't wait to get out this weekend try them out with the new rag bags. Thanks Don for sourcing and supplying the arrows and bags you are such a pleasure to deal with! If they shoot as good as they look order me another dozen Don as I always shoot groups

The BEA are 18" and have 92 gr upfront. The other arrows are firebolts. And 2119s cut down to 17 for coon control.

Yep....AWESOME ACCURACY....I've built two dozen at 382 grains (including the 100 grain field point). Getting around 358 - 360 on the chronograph out of the Matrix 380 with stock string. Plenty fast enough for me. Waiting for my Boo Strings.

Don has shot G5 strikers at 50 yards I think all three arrows touching. I have a few I'm going to test this weekend. Have the strikers, slick tricks, exodus swept blade and Don gave me Swackers to try today.

Just a heads up Don has 20 dozen BEA on order. I have 2 dozen Zombie slayers on the way. I have a feeling this 355 will eat some up as I'm lazy and don't like shooting one arrow at one dot. Email him if you are interested in Executioners or Slayers. I think he has 6 dozen Slayers and 12 dozen Executioners left. Should be available in a couple weeks.

First three shots sighting in the scope from top right then left center is third shot at. 20yards.

First two shots at 40yards then things got confusing. Next three shots were a group and ruined two arrows. Third shot went 4incges high. Hmmm turned speed ring up. Went 6 high. Turned to full power went 7 high. WTF.? Shot a dozen more arrows thought scope was done. Well it turns out I didn't tighten the scope base or as I had it off. I thought it couldn't be the base. so needless to say they are now tight and I ran out of play time. I'll let you know how they shoot next time out. Lol. From the first five shots they were bang on.

First time I used the Third Hand Bag as well. Love it! Easy pull and tough bag. Thanks Don... I think he still has. Few left.
