Re: hunting light advice
I have a wicked light.
It is setup on my scope.
I use it for going to blind or stand then for hunting hogs.
Depending which led setup I have in it depends on battery life.
I carry a charged back up also

Re: hunting light advice
hello friend which lights have been you using for hunting.. I am trying to get an efficient light for hunting so please help me.IH8ATTN wrote:Hey just wondering what people are using or recommending for a light going in and out of the bush during hunting and locating. I've been using a mag light but its just to heavy and bulky. I 'm looking for something like an LED, maybe something I can put on my head and is rechargeable instead of putting in batteries all the time. Thanks in advance

Re: hunting light advice
As per the advice of Normous, I've been using the Fenix PD35 flashlight and HP25 headlamp. These are truly amazing lights. The flashlight uses two cr123a 3 volt batteries and the headlamp uses four AA batteries.

Re: hunting light advice
My daughter gave me an awesome camo hat which I think came from LOWES for Christmas a couple years back. It has 2 very small and intense led lights under the bill which are awesome as they are always pointed where I'm looking with no strap arrangement around my head or interfering with my hunting hat... It can also be easily turned off with the depress of a push button swith under the brim.... batteries are 4/ 2032's and in a battery pouch located in the rear side of the hat-band. These are easily changed and seem to last almost for ever.. I have tried several lights, but this for me is the best...
Also, since it's under the brim it is pretty well hidden from game while I'm walking in with my head looking down where I'm stepping, and works awesome while gutting out and dressing an animal should dark occure before you finish up.
