Fletching??

Post by toytruck »

Haven't seen this one on here yet, unless I missed it. I ordered two packs of 6 (12) excalibur carbon arrows an they arrived yesterday. One pack had all yellow fleching an the other had all white. I'm probably only going to use the white fleched arrows for target since white is a danger sign for critters especially deer.
Anybody hunt with only white fleched arrows? Do the deer pickup on them or not?

I have a crossbow set up with white and when the arrow/bolt is loaded its not easy to see but I do cover the ones in my quiver with something like another pc of clothing...I do the same thing with most colors anyway because I like bright colors

I use a flo green wrap with flo green and flo orange fletching
I hog hunt normally after the sun goes down.
I have made a cover using two lays stacks containers that hook over second quiver piece.
When I get back to tx will take a few pics.
May my aim be true and my arrow fly straight

I have white on most of the arrows I build . If you look at the raps people use lots of them are white. As long as your not waving the arrow around you will be fine.
