Axiom string

Post by 76chevy »

what string would you recommend having on hand for a backup for this bow?

I am more concerned with accuracy and of course, durability than I am with speed.

Definitely Flemish. They tend to stretch a bit at the start but soon stabilize as you shoot them and are faster and stronger. I make my own but the Excal FFF is a great string at a good price. If you're hankerin' for a real special Flemish, try one of Boo's..but be ready for a wait.
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.
Incurable tinkerer.

The factory Excel string. Very little creep, very reliable, easy on the limbs, super accurate and cheap!
Some people just like stepping on rakes
