Just curious

Post by steve rodo »

Are there any members here in ga that want to shoot somewhere?I can go bout anytime anywhere .A little friendly shoot and a bbq at the same time ,Id do the bbq ,pulled pork and brisket,Baby backs ,and some yard bird ,with hawaian bbq beans.Hotdogs for the young folk.
Id maybe think about having it at my place if need be ,or my hunting club in hancock county. After deer season is over.

Crossbows & compounds are good .

I can come up with a dozen targets to shoot at in different situations.

We had a get-together in SE Pennsylvania earlier this year and it was a good time. I hope you find some forum members in your area.

I was talking to my wife over lunch and told her if you mention Brunswick Stew will be at the get-together I may have to drive down.

All the best.

Was driving home from Florida back in the day and stopped to visit a friend in Atlanta, Ga. Her mother served dinner and it was unlike anything I'd ever seen before. The father is sitting there with an entire wall of animals and the other wall full of gun safes ... better keep my mouth shut. :D Then, I tried the interesting dish .. Whoa Nelley!!! Delicious and after four bowls was told what was in it ... "Huh, I just ate squirrel for the first time." The dear lady gave me a recipe for it before I left, but, for some reason even after 20+ years I cannot make Brunswick Stew as good as a Southerner. :)

Steve ... I truly hope you can meet some of the forum members in your neck of the woods. I still can't believe how Masboy reached out to me the way he did. I was a complete stranger and his friendship, kindness and help was freely given ... it made me "get" why this Forum, though not "perfect", is by far the best Forum I've ever been a part of.

Masboy, Boo, Vixenmaster ... etc, etc. etc. Too many to name, but all have given of themselves sacrificially. You'll see that type of kindness repeated often in this Forum.

All the best.

Pig hunt.
Probably Fort Stewart.
Maybe Fort Benning but I would bet on Ft. Stewart for a hog.
