Level bubble on 380

Post by steve rodo »

Has anyone put one on their bow anywhere ,where it will stay put on it .
My long range rifle all have bubbles on them for the accuracy for long shoots,
Just curious if anyone has done this to their crossbow?

The more level the equipment the better the shoot will be ,Cause its the same all the time as far as level bubble.

Im a long range shooter all my life .I can trick a gun out ,but never did a crossbow.

I use the ACCU/LEVEL ARTICULATING SCOPE LEVEL for rifles .Dont see why it wont work on crossbows.

At one time I had a bubble level on the wifes Vortex and my Equinox. I used 3M double edge tape and placed it on the riser in plain view. In all honesty we never used them and for sure when a deer got in my sights looking at the bubble alignment was the last thing on my mind. For long range target shooting I can see some benefit and for short range deer hunting, for me anyways, it is a useless item.

The ones i use go around the scope tube on my guns .On my bmg 50 cal and 30/378 ,the level holds up to them .but not sure on the bow .Ill try it and see what happens .All i know it makes shooting more accurate for long shots .I do like to punch paper as long as i can get .stretch things out a bit to the max i say .

Ill put one on my 380 and see what happens .
I was more curious if any folks have done this with their bows for shooting targets not critters .

Steve, check out the second picture. It clamps onto your Weaver rail. The only warning on this item is to add tiny bit of crazy glue to secure the spirit level. Mine came loose when I was hunting in real cold temps.

Rex, that dust is from my bag. That while hose in front of the bow is a boot drier. The bow got wet that day.

I have a level on my bow for target shooting but find that shooting at targets it,s much easier to use a level on my targets an put one target under another with both level an perfectly inline an look at the crosshairs for vertical alinement on the other target. I just line the vertical crosshair center of both bulls an good to go . much more acurrate for me testing arrows than trying to look at the level then back at your crosshair. works for me

That level would also work nicely when setting your scope initially not?
