I'm looking to keep things really simple this year. We probably won't make any modifications to the crossbow. Just buy a few more arrows and test out some different broadheads to see what works well and get a lot of practice in before deer season opens.
We've been watching a couple of really nice bucks on some public land not too far from our cottage in the thumb of MI. We're hoping my son will be able to take one when the youth hunt starts in Sept. Once he gets one, it will be dad's turn.

I've been looking through the forum and there's lots of great info. I'll aplogize in advance for the number of stupid questions I'm sure to have.
