Having had to leave behind my coveted hunting permissions has made me realize how well I'd gotten to know those farms and woods over the years and how I'd almost taken for granted the certainty of the deer action from those familiar stands and blinds.
Now I'm right back there with all of us who wonder, "Will I even see a deer or get a shooting opportunity this fall?
Nothing like starting from scratch to take a guy down a whole lotta notches!
