Has Hawke introduced their new crossbow scope yet for sale??? If so, any reviews??? I last heard the end of July but have not followed up since.

yes they have. I have one and like it alot. almost same as the tactzone optics are better in the compact. I also prefer the crosshairs to the cheverons.

What is the model? Does it blur on the edges like the Tactzone?

if you adjust your (fps) ring accordingly to your distance and properly adjust the eye-piece focus for clarity of the cross hair, there is no blur !!! according to my experience with this optic. if still a problem, consult your warranty dealer :|

all compact scopes lack compared to the long bodied scopes. I had no issues with my tactzone or my hawke. i prefer the hawke but will not sell the tactzone.

The Tact-Zone is NOT manufactured by Hawke.
At least this is what I was told by Moon and several others on the AT site.

My tac zone isn't bad but believe it or not I couldn't get use to the chevrons and with the hawke couldn't get use to the circles I had to get a leupold crossbones like my rifle scopes just use to the reticle then the hawke on my others had to get the same thing but even with the hawke you have to adjust a little like the tactzone nothing like a leupold though

X2. It has etched glass crosshairs that get smaller as yardage increases. The Hawke XB1 SR 3x32 scope has circle reticles. IMO the XB Compact is a very good scope for the money.

Hope you are right. My Hunting Buddy and I ordered two of them in for our Excalburs the instant they were released. Should show any day now...

Will of course post a report when we get to trying them...

Cheers,
