I outfitted an older Vixen for my wife with some spare parts I had lying around the garage. Put on a scope rail, a new shadow zone I had in the box, some GT lazer II's with 100 gr Snuffers, a new Flemish string and a Bohning top mount quiver bracket. I gotta say that even though the string is pink and purple and she sports some pink and purple arrows, I might try to sneak it into the woods if she doesn't keep a close eye on it. It's a lightweight, narrow profile killer. 340gr. total weight arrow at 290fps with a broadhead. I've got it dialed-in and she's shooting great 40yd groups, very accurate. Not at all the kind of performance I thought I'd get from a bow that is advertised at 285fps, I'm pleasantly surprised. Its a lot easier to draw than the bigguns I have owned and its a degree quieter than my Matrix too.
With the kind of luck she has, she'll nail a bigger buck than I me . . . again.
