I have shot recurves and compounds for years and have a few dozen arrows left over from those days.
My question is on useing those arrows for crossbows. How do you determine spine? what is too small a diameter? WHERE do you get nocks for standard arrows? Also does anyone use real feathers(I have thousands of them)?
Any help appreciated.

PS, most of my shafts are carbon GT, Some Beeman, some CE
Making arrows
Re: Making arrows
I don,t have a spine tester so just shoot them for groups while trying a different cock feather for grouping an poi an works for me. you should have at least 21/64 an you can get anything you need at Lancaster archery supply on line.not a thing wrong with feathers other than the longer ones seem to be effected more by the wind for me.
