I have on my other bows but the 355 worked fine for me. Maybe there not all the same lenth.
Re: String Cocker rope Matrix 355
Gary, I shorten mine so I have to lift the string on my 355 2". Makes it much easier to cock.

yes on my c2 cranker too much string makes its hard to control and get started cranking.

Stephanie, we are talking about the rope cocker with handles that you pull up on. You can just do some cranking with the ratchet engaged or give one side a winding or two to lessen the amount of spooled out rope,Stephe wrote:yes on my c2 cranker too much string makes its hard to control and get started cranking.

yes i know.
but same thing if its too long its hard to work or get started if no tention.
on any cocking device.

Re: String Cocker rope Matrix 355
Ive been using the one that came with my Equinox or my Phoenix for my 380, no need to pull up on the string to hook up, wrote to Exclal but Peter B says it is due to "higher draw weights and shorter stroke". Works for me thats all I can confirm.
