I always opted out on these and yesterday my brother and I stopped into walmart and each got one. what dummys we are :shock: all these years we been going out and getting eat up and/or trying diff sprays.
Took them out with us as we hunted the evening..no bugs at all.
all we had to do is come off 20 bucks and we skeeter free. im sold :!:

Yup, it does as advertised, and if you get cold just take out the pad and stick it inside your jacket.

They used to sell real cheap butane refills on Ebay...you just had to put a little adapter on each one and it was supplied too....they were a whole lot cheaper than the ones thermacell or thermascent sell.....hope it saves ya some cash!!!!! :roll:

I refill my own, it is very simple.
It comes in handy for those times you leave the unit on, burn through a pad on a whole cartridge.
